Most of the time kids think they can’t measure up to our standards, and they’re right… as long as they think that way.
When they show that they can, we should reach harder to erase any doubt… and they’ll believe.
Have you done anything to instill that sense in any of your children lately? I’ve asked my nieces that they COMMIT to getting good grades, rather that working hard.
